Who are we?
- For over 40 years, Life Center of Galax has been a private drug and alcohol rehab center for the treatment of alcoholism, drug addiction and dual diagnosis. The Life Center of Galax opened in 1973 as the first rehabilitation facility in Virginia specifically licensed and accredited to exclusively treat chemical dependency. Treatment includes educational lectures, group counseling, gender-specific groups, recreational therapy and activities, relapse prevention planning, and 12-Step principles.
